ABSTARCT
Information is vital in human endeavor. The
search for information is at increase day by day as the world is in its
globalization trend. There is need for fast access to this but especially in
the aspect of cases, legislation, and materials dealing with legal problems.
Information available in law library may ordinarily be discovered from index
shelf or according to the date the cases were filed, as pre-arranged by
librarians who are always there to assist. This project work brought to the
door step the following benefits: Availability of some expensive legal
materials, reduces the time involved in searching /seeking information and
enhances legal research drafting of legal documents and bibliographical
assistance have been made possible, complex demands of clients/users have been
reduced. With this, cases will be heard and judged as at when duc. The
implementation of this project work was done using a Visual Basic 6.0
programming language while Microsoft Access was used to design the database.
