Using Non-Parametric Tests to Establish Effect Of Age Distribution On Hospital Patients Admission In Abia State

ABSTRACT
Age distribution is not usually considered in most General Hospitals in the assignment of wards to patients. In the work, data have been collected from three General a Hospitals in Abia State. Non-parametric test have been used to established the effect of age distribution in Abia State General Hospital. Age, has been divided into three groups in this work, (below one, 1 to 15 years, and above 15). The kruskals — Wallis test, Wilcoxon rank sum test and Kolmogorov Smimov tests are used. At the end of the analysis it was discovered that age group above 15 years have the highest in the attendance and age group below one year has the lowest in attendance.
