ABSTRACT

The paper examines how the Library could improve political leadership and value system in Nigeria. This is done through the exploration of the usefulness of the library as a first class source of information for political leaders and as a veritable means of generally improving social cultural values in Nigeria. The paper established that the Library is a veritable tool for the improvement of political leadership and value system in Nigeria. Five recommendations based on the findings are made and the study concludes that in spite of the importance of the library as highlighted in the paper, continued effort should be made to cultivate and nurture the culture of reading informative books, especially in the Libraries.
