Abstract

 This paper examines the impact of local production on the economic growth of Nigeria from /9A/ 2018. The objective of the study is Io look at the impact of local production on the economic growth of Nigeria and to hike a look at effect of government expenditure on the economic growth in Nigeria. Secondary data were collected based on the model used in the research work and unit root test was conducted on the data to test their stationary, after which we perform co-integration test to analyze the long run relationship among the variables The result obtained from our empirical analysis shows that private domestic investment have a positive significant impact on the economic growth in \ igerta. The study therefore recommend that there is a need for government to create enabling an environment for local production to rise through the adoption of macroeconomic policies which will boost investment opportunities in the economy thereby contributing to the growth of the economy
