ABSTRACT

 This work was carried out primarily Io determine “The Impact ofLiquidity Management on the Profit Performance ofDeposit Money Banks in Nigeria ” The data was collectedfrom secondary sources through the annual financial statements of the selected banks from 2000 -2012. The multiple regression technique was used to determine the extent to which liquidity management affected profit performance ofthe selected banks. The regression showed that deposit ratio, Loan asset ratio, and liquidity ratio are significant andpositively related to profit performance at 5%. While cash reserve ratio impacted negatively on the banks' profit. It was recommended that the banks develop more dynamic liquidity management model and CBN should do something about the huge deposit- loan interest rate differentials.
