The Impact Of Liquidity Management On Corporate Profit

ABSTRACT

The topic is, "The impact of liquidity management on corporate profit". This research was undertaken to ascertain the effect of liquidity management on the profit of manufacturing companies in Abia State and Nigeria as a whole. The methods of data analysis in the study were quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative technique of data analysis was applied in the analysis of the data collected through the questionnaire. Data analyzed were carried out both statistically and descriptively. Statistical tools used include percentages, tables and chi-square. The quantitative techniques include private interviews with Seven-up Bottling Company Staff on their views about liquidity management. Based on the findings, the research recommended that the management of Seven-up Bottling Company Aba should know how to reactivate the liquidity and profitability ratio of the firm and proper utilization of their resources. The important facts have made it essentially inevitable that liquidity should be managed efficiently. All business entrepreneurs are advised therefore, not only to recognize this fact but also to weave it into material resources of their administrative machinery.
