ABSTRACT
The performance of broilers fed diets containing 5%, 10% and 15% full fat palm kernel meal was compared to determine which of these levels of fullfat palm kernel meal inclusion in broiler diets would produce the best result. Four isonitrogenous and isocaloric diets containing 0, 5, 10 and 15% levels 'i of full fat palm kernel meal at broiler starter and finisher phases were fed to 72 broiler chicks of Anak 2000 breed. The experiment lasted for eight weeks Feed intake, daily weight gain and feed conversion ratio of birds fed diet containing 5% full fat palm kernel meal (FFPKM) were significantly greater (P<0.05) that those of birds fed 10% and 15% FFPKM respectively but similar to that of birds fed the control ration (0% FFPKM). In terms of economic evaluation (cost of feed, cost per weight gain, revenue and 1 the most profitable of all the diets. For average final weight, haemoglobin, (P>0.05) among birds fed diets with 5, 10 and 15% FFPKM.
