ABSTRACT
The programmes of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nigeria have come a long way passing through different evolutionary phases, to the current status of domestication. Efforts have been made to add a lot of local content as a way of making TVET responsive to our local needs, aspirations and challenges. TVET as currently emphasized, aims to develop in the learners sustainable knowledge, skills, values and attitudesrequisite to successful entry into the world of work.
