ABSTRACT
Gene expression is the biological process by which the information encoded in a gene is used to produce a functional product, usually a protein or sometimes a functional RNA molecule. It is a fundamental concept in Molecular Biology and Genetics because it explains how genetic information stored in DNA controls the structure and function of living organisms.
