Role Of Management Information System In The Maintenance Of An Efficient Accounting System (A Study Of Five Manufacturing Organizations In Umuahia Abia State)

ABSTRACT

This research study focuses on the role of management information system in the maintenance of efficient accounting system. The study revealed that there are other factors that can enhance or influence efficient accounting, this lead to the acceptance of null hypothesis included in the study, using product moment coefficient of correlation. The research study is made up of 100 employees of five manufacturing organization in Umuahia Abia State which was randomly selected. The sample size of 80 was gotten using Yaro Yamani formular. The data use in the analysis of this research study was collected from a well structured questionnaire which captures a reliable and accurate information on the importance of application of computer in the manufacturing organization which will help in efficient accounting system.
