ABSTRACT

The study focused on marketing efficiency of packaged 'water production in lmo State Nigeria. It specifically analyzed the socioeconomic profile and forms of packaged water identified the marketing channel as well as estimated marketing efficiency and its determinants. Respondents were selected from the zones using random sampling technique while data were collected with structured questionnaire. In the analysis of data, descriptive statistics, schematic diagram and multiple regression were employed. The results showed that age, education, household size and income emerged as major determinants of marketing efficiency of packaged water in the area. This study therefore supported the' intensification of family planning program and infrastructural development as a means of enhancing marketing efficiency.
