ABSTRACT

 This study examined the influence of non-financial motivation on the productivity of sales forces among manufacturing industry in Nigeria. Data were sourced from 100 respondents with the help of well structured questionnaire, and analysed with descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The findings were made that there were positive relationship between workers productivity and non-financial motivations and that increase in non-financial motivation resulted in increase in productivity of the worker. Also workers productivity is positively related with experience, education, remuneration, family size, marital status and negatively related with age. It was therefore recommended among others that from time to time, employee surveys be conducted in the organizations to measure how well supervisors are doing in the area of employee non-financial motivation
