ABSTRACT

 The study assessed the impact of inventory management on the profitability of manufacturing company in Nigeria using 7up bottling company pic as a case study. The study used primary and secondaiy data. In all, 30 respondents were used. Data were analyzed using chi-square statistical tool. The study revealed that effective and efficient inventory management and control improves the profitability of the company. The study also shows some problems associated with inventory and ways oftackling them. From the chi-square used shows that increase in the level of inventory maintain by a company will not have any significant effect on the daily operation cost.
