Impact Of Information Technology On Service Delivery In Nigeria Banking Sector In Abia State (A Study Of Selected Banks In Abia State)

ABSTRACT

The advent of information technology is rapidly changing the banking industry in this study, the impact of information technology on the banking industry in Abia state and Nigeria as a whole is described. A questionnaire was employed to collect data from customers at some banks in the state on the extent to which customers believe that information technology sects an impact on banking activities or services. The results of the study clearly indicate that information technology has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the banking industry in Abia state and Nigeria in General.
