ABSTRACT Keywords: GDP, Inflation, Interest Rate, Money Supply, Nigerian Economy. ix 4 The study empirically examined the impact of inflationary pressure on Nigerian Economy between 1988-2018. Secondary method of data collection was used to generate data for this study and the sources ofthe data included annual reports accounts and CBN statistical bulletin 2015. Multiple regression ofordinary least square estimation was the tool used to analyse the data in this study. In the model, GDP was regressed on inflation (INF), interst rate (INTR) and money supply (M?). The study has reviewed there exist a significant relationship between Money supply and interest rate as related to the economy while interest rate has no significant relationship. The study therefore recommend that interest rate is still charged at a rate that still affects the economy and government should use adequate fiscal and monetary implements to address the b-end. Government should also maintain the money supply and rate ofinflation as it yield growth to the Nigerian economy.
