Impact Of Accounting System On Hotel Business Performance (A Study Of Imo Concord Hotel Owerri

ABSTRACT

This project examine the need to appraise the impact of accounting system on hotel

business performance and this study also explain the subject matter as to find out

whether adequate accounting system are engage in the administration of hotel

business. Survey method was adopted as research the design. A sample of 80 was

determined using Taro Yamen formula. Data was collected via primary and

secondary source and were analyzed with chi-square, the result of the study reveals

that good accounting system improves the performance of hotel business, hence

the hotel business requires sound accounting system so as to aid the management

in decision making.
