ABSTRACT

Generational gap is a broad difference in value and attitudes between one generation and another, especially between parents and their children. It can exist in their choice of music, food consumption, clothing, language use, technological influences, language brokering and workplace. It is a difference of opinions between one generation and another regarding beliefs, politics, or values. Generation gap can be differences in values, lifestyles, and economic opportunities that exist between people of different age cohorts living in the society (Barker, 2013). Generation gap is differences in values and attitude between young people and their parents (Joseph, 2000)
