Financial Statement: Implication On Corporate Performance And Investment Decision (A Study Pz Cusson Aba Abia State)

ABSTRACT

The study is based on the financial statement implication on corporate performance and investment decision, in PZ Cussons and it covers the firms financial status which is to be known to the shareholders, creditors and investors. The study helped because it helps to defect the primary weakness and strength of the company. The study was carried out with the use of primary data (issuing of questionnaires) and the statistical tool used is chi-square (X2) method which showed that investors don't use financial statement to measure a firms performance and sometimes there is problem in interpreting financial statement in conclusion the information statement should be used to measure the performance of the corporate firm and firms should make preparation of financial statement as a priority in making decisions.
