ABSTRACT

This research work originated from the need and importance of the use of budget as cash control tool in corporate management, with particular interest in Nigeria bottling company pic Owerri Imo State. The research study looks at the background of the study, statement of problems, objectives of tire study, research questions which formed the research hypothesis, significance of the study, scope and limitation ofthe study. It also consists ofreview of related literature. A survey design was used in the research work; the population was gotten with a sample size using the taro yamane, the source of data used was primary and secondary data which the research later used a data instrument consisting of questionnaire and oral interview. The data analysis technique used was Chi-square and correlation. This work discusses the data presentation, analysis and discussion which was arranged in a tabular form with findings to the analysis, hypothesis in chapter one been tested and decisions made. Finally the project work reviewed the summary of findings, conclusion and recommendation made.
