ABSTRACT

 In this research work on evaluation of Public Relation strategy in Government Parastatal, Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) the researcher labored to come out with the best, believing that public relation practice is quite indispensible to the success of any organization in our today's unstable business environment. In Chapter One of this work, the introduction- a historical background of the work is done, the statement of the problem, and objective of the study were also considered in this chapter. Hypothesis, limitations of the study, significance of the study were all done in Chapter One. In Chapter two, the review of related literature was done. Here, what notable writers, business leaders, institutions and bodies have said or the opinions they held on this were reviewed. Chapter Three outlined the research methodology. In * Chapter Four, the presentation and analysis of data and information gathered through questionnaires and interview were done. These were use to test the three hypothesis of this research. Finally Chapter Five, Summary, Conclusion and Recommendations of the work were presented. The findings which present Public relations practice as a "Sinequa-non" a good relationship. And it was finally recommended that the organizational leaders should employ people that are visionary and also with mental alertness to rrinitor the unstable business trend of ours.
