ABSTRACT

 This study examines the "Effective Management ofLibrary Resources in Academic Library in University ofNigeria Nsukka .. Chapter three describes the procedure that will be used in carrying out this study. It describes the research design, area ofthe study, population for the study, sample and sampling technique, instrument for data collection, validity of the instrument, method of data collection and method of data analysis. Specifically, the study examined the types of academic library resources that exist in university of Nigeria Nsukka, determine the extent to which effective management is important in the management of academic library resources, identify problems that militate against effective management of academic library resources and assess management strategies that can be used to overcome these problems. A descriptive survey design will be used for this study while direct delivery and retrieval method will be used in administering the instrument to the respondents. The data for this study will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tools like frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.
