ABSTRACT

Working capital of an enterprise is important proper secretion and management of working capital management policies can create competitive advantage. This study aimed to provide empirical evidence about effect of working capital management companies. Working capital management and performance management have a meaningful relationship and selection policy aggressively financial and investment in working capital will lead to improved management companies. Working capital management in profitability has been gathered by self made questionnaire and accuracy of the research hypotheses are examined using ANOVA analysis. From the test I establish that the components of working capital (cash, debtors, stock and creditors are efficient managed individually and collectively in NBC PLC and that contributed to the success of NBC PLC. The researcher can therefore conclude that effect and efficient management of working capital is a necessary instrument for the successful operation of NBC PLC in particular and other business enterprises in general. Inspite of the above conclusion, the researcher proffered useful recommendations that will help NBC PLC and other companies to achieve greater efficiency in the management of working capital.
