ABSTRACT

 The study investigated on the effect of sales promotion on the marketing of consumer goods. The objective of this study is to ascertain the effect of sales promotion on marketing of consumer goods. To achieve the objectives of the study, descriptive survey design was adopted. The researcher adopted primary data in getting the required information. In testing the analysis, correlation coefficient was used.. The findings revealed that sales promotion enhances sales volume to a very large extent. The researcher recommends that companies should ensure the formulation ofstrategic promotional policies structured to increase and improve sales.
