Effect Of Manpower Training On Organizational Efficiency Among Agribusiness Firms In Abia State, Nigeria

ABSTRACT

The study examined the effect of Manpower Training on Organizational efficiency among Agribusiness firms in Abia State Nigeria. The specific objectives were to analyze the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents in the study area, and to determine the range of training cost on organizational productivity and finally to examine the effect of training development on organizational efficiency. The study adopted a sample size of 120 which was arrived at through a multistage randomized sampling technique. Simple percentage and multiple regression model was used for data analysis. Objective (i) was determined using simple percentage while objectives (ii) and (iii) were analysed using multiple regression model. The findings of the study necessitated recommendation that manpower training and development which has positive relationship with organizational efficiency should be increased likewise productivity.
