ABSTRACT

Information and communications technology is as old as man. This is informed by the fact 'that man since creation has continually created ways and means of communicating with his (<•/low man. This study was carried out to investigate the effect of information and communication technology on organization performance using 7up bottling company as a i·,i,e study. The, study uas ,onducled in Aba. Abia State, Nigeria The Sludy was guided by three specific} objective and 1hree null hypotheses respectively. The study adopted descriptive  survey research design, while the population of study was 450 respondents. it wos no/ ionvenienl to the researche,• to use the whole population, therefore 2/J respondent/s were ampled using Taro Yamane formular. In order to gather data for the study 211 questionnaires was administered to the 2l1 respondents, the data collected was analysed sing Pearson correlation coefficient. The result of the analyses revealed that: Information nd communication technology has a posilive and siatistical/y relationship with organization 1erformance, information an ! communic:alion technology training and development has a usi1ive bUI insigntficant relationship with organization performance and information and ?mmunicath•n technology se,·vice delivery hos a positive and significant relationship with ganization performance. Based on me.findings it was recommended that there is a need to 'msider the cost and hene.fits tu i/w urgunization •·hen planning /Or the integration of formation and communication lechnology in the operation system,
