bstract This paper examines the impact ofhuman capital investment on the industrial sector ofNigeriafrom 1981 — 2018. The objective of the study is to look at the different government and individuals efforts geared towards improving human capital in Nigeria its effect on the economic growth in Nigeria. Primary data were collected based on the model used in the research work and Chi-square estimation technique was used as a tool ofanalysis. From our empirical analysis, it was generally discovered that level ofeducation / and training has tremendously affected the performance ofthis company as it has affected both the incentive ofthe workers to work and their productivity. The study therefore recommend that companies should employ more resources towards improving its human capital content through education and training ofits staff as this will lead to increase in the industrialsectorproductivity.
