Effect Of Computerization On Deposit Money Banks (A Study Of Diamond Bank Umuahia Branch Abia State)

ABSTRACT

This research focuses on the effect of computerization on deposit money bank in Nigeria Banking industry. A case study of Diamond Bank Port Harcourt, River State Branch. In order to ensure that the purpose of the study research were achieved, the researcher strategically adopted the tools outlined below which actually generated meaningful contribution to the findings, the techniques and tools employed were as follows research design. Population of the study, sampling procedure, data collection method, questionnaires and observations. The data was analyzed using chi-square it was determine that (X2) calculated 13.282 and degree of freedom (C-i) (r-1) (2-1) (3-1) X2test at 0.05 has a positive significance between electronic banking and manual banking system to customers and employees in Nigeria banking industry and X2test at 5% critical value is 5.99. Degree of freedom DF(2-1) (3-1) = (1 x 2 )= 2 has a positive effect of respondents opinion on information system on deposit money bank.
