ABSTRACT
This study analysis the Effect of Accounting in control of public establishment expenditure in Nigeria, A Study of Central Bank of Nigeria, the study used primary data through the administration of structured questionnaire, using 5 point likert scale for the data and tests the hypothesis formulated. The study revealed that Accounting has significant effect on control of public establishment expenditure in Nigeria at 4.2% level of significance; also it revealed that 3.3% has a significant effect of accounting on the promotion of public establishments in Nigeria. It therefore recommends that, there should be adequate training among the management staff; this will give much needed understanding as to the effect of accounting operational performance.
