ABSTRACT

The study focused on e-marketing. prospects and challenges in Nigeria. The specific objectives of the study were to access the effects of c-marketing on corporate profitability in Nigeria, examine the effect of e-marketing on consumer relationship in Nigeria among others. In the study, the prospects of c-marketing, given the environmental challenges like high level of fraud, poor level of infrastructure. high level of illiteracy among others were analyzed using the Linear Regression Result from the study revealed the following among others; that: the environmental challenges in Nigeria make it difficult for c-marketing to significantly affect organizational efficiency positively, the intellectual disabilities of rural dwellers has a significantly negative effect on the application of c-marketing. It is therefore recommended that the level of infrastructural development in Nigeria as well as the security situation should be improved upon. Moreover, rural dwellers should be exposed to internet training to make them c-marketing relevant
