ABSTRACT

 Entrepreneurs are involved in innovation and development They are constantly recognizing opportunities, leveraging such opportunities and converting themto marketable ideas and values while also bearing the risk of competition. An entrepreneur is defined as "someone who starts a company, arranges business deals and takes risks in order to make a profit (Rundel, 2000). For an entrepreneur to start a company or arrange a business, the entrepreneur must have a vision and a clear idea of what is believed could be achieved. Clarity ofvision makes the entrepreneur overcome storms (risks) and succeed. When the odds are against the idea, visionary entrepreneurs never back down. In line with the above perspectives, Akinola (2013) sees an entrepreneur as an "ice breaker, innovator and visionary who sees opportunities in glaring challenges “ (P.7). Simply put, an entrepreneuris someone who perceives opportunity, organizes resources needed for exploiting that opportunity and exploits
