ABSTRACT
The total cost of producing the apparatus is one hundred and ninetyfour Thousand, two Hundred and Fifty-two Naira, fifty kobo (N194,252:50) only lengths not exceeding 1.0 m. mm -16 mm, with determined theoretically, the apparatus can experimentally determine the critical speeds of shafts of diameters between 3 the results of the critical speeds determined practically with the experiment was very close to the ones Also, as was determined to be between 713-4350 rpm. An apparatus for determining whirling speeds ofshafts was developed in this study using locally sourced standard materials.
