Design and Construction of 1.5kv A Solar Power Inverter

ABSTRACT
This project is designed to produce a voltage output of 240v ac from an f2v de produced by a Solar pancl of size 4fcct by 2foot. This 12v dc is sent to the inversion unit to be inverted to 12v ac and then be transformed by the output transformer to give the output. Solar power inverter is a device that converts solar energy to electrical energy. In this project, the reason for the rise of solar inverter which include the use of nuclear fuels which pose serious injury to man and environment, epileptic and unregulated power supply etc. have been highlighted. Various components used in the construction of this project were described. The mode of operation and the circuit were analyzed showing completely how the components that made up the system were coordinated at each stage to give the required output. The construction process was also described. Finally this write-up concluded with number of recommendations and problems encountered during the process of carrying out the work.
