ABSTRACT

As economies of the world are globalizing day by day and banks are moving towards attainment of developed status. Banks here are the main subject to this research work as regards to how the workers are been managed. As economies globalize, it is necessary to focus on banks within the geographical boundaries. This research work seeks to analyze corporate governance structures and operation specifically in Nigeria. The first chapter gives an introduction and background information to the entire work and gives definition to the terms used in the study Chapter two contains information gotten online, textbooks, and other publications. The chapter gives vivid explanation on concept of corporate governance, it principles and code of best practices. Chapter three discuss research methodology used in analyzing the data gotten from both primary and secondary sources and actual analysis, presentation and interpretation of data were done in chapter four. The summary, conclusion, research findings and recommendation made, formed the chapter five which is the concluding chapter of this research. It is hoped that all interest groups would find the work very useful in their various user needs.
