ABSTRACT

 Collection Development Policy establishes ground rules for planning. budgeting, selecting. and acquiring of lihr:iry materials. It also a vehicle through which the library achieves the goals or its reatkrs· services. The Study examines collection development policy as a factor inllucncing quality services deliver} to library users in Michael Okpara lJniversity of Agril:ulture. lJmudil-.e (MOUAU). Abia State. Nigeria. The design for the study was survey research. The population was 60 which cover Professional and non-professional staff of Michael Okpara University of Agricultun:. Lihrary l.lmudikc. Data obtained were descriptively analyzed using frequency and mean.
