ABSTRACT
The study was designed to find out the infrastructuralfacilities ofthe private primary schools and compare it with what was earlier observed in public primary schools. A ten item open-ended questionnaire was developed and given to the head teachers. 90% were returned. Result was analysed with percentages. It showed that the private schools were better equipped but however, some ofthefacilities were in inappropriate quantity and size. It was recommended amongst others that government should improve infrastructural facilities in public primary schools to enable them compete favourably with the private ones
