Abstract
The issues of values education have attracted
much attention in recent times, especially against the current loss ofvaluesin
almost all parts ofthe country. The only values we know are the ones we have
freely chosen all others we regard as valuelessirrespective ofthe consequences
ofneglecting them. The writers examine various strategies ofvalue
orientation/reorientation. The question ofhow, where and when of value
orientation have been attempted. And finally a new strategy to value
orientation education is introduced, and the authorsreferto that as'unity
ofvarious approaches ofvalue education'. It is believed that the effective use
ofthis all embracing approach will better orient our adolescents towards moral
values.
