The findings from the study shows that financial Analysis is useful in comparing performance of the firms of the same kinds, the researcher also find out that companies use many ratios to compare its position; external variables impose threats to financial statements. Conseqtentlv, the following recommendations were offered: companies should always use financial statement analysis to compare other companies of the same kind before embarking on any investment opportunity. The users of financial Statement should be aware of these external variables and finally, companies should use more than one ratio when analyzing its financial statement.
