Statistical Process Control Of 7-Up Bottling Company Aba, Abia State: A Case Study Of 7-Up Products:- Oriaku Ifeomachi J
ABSTRACT
Statistical
Process Control (SPC) is a regulating process which measures a product
performance. This study uses this powerful approach of SPC to assess the
factors which affect the fill height of 7-up bottling company which are
Temperature, Pressure (PSIG), CO; volume, Air Content (PPM). The justification
underlying the SPC approach applied was investigated and the result shows that
the data met the required assumption. Finally the SPC was applied and control
chart standards were constructed for the company, this was used to check the
conformance of the quality standards as regards to the fill height, it is
concluded that an assignable cause of variation is present. Hence the process
that produces this data is unstable
