ABSTRACT
Quantitative
determination ofthe phytochemical constituents of Psidium guajava were also carried
out and the results discussed in this work. This paper was designed to develop
a novel method via gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) for the
analysis and identification ofphytochemicals from the extract ofpsidium guajava
leaves. The possible fragmentation pathways were proposed on the basis of MS
data. In result, a compound was identified.
