ABSTRACT

The scope of this Research work was focused on the effects of Merger and Acquisition on small business lending in Nigeria  on study of selected  Banks in Nigeria. The objective   of this Research shows the static effects relationship of banks merger and acquisition  and small business lending  in Nigeria.  To make Recommendations based on findings, examine theories related to merger and acquisition,  examine the concepts of merger and acquisitions. In Nigeria, method of data collection was based on journals,  banks Annual reports news papers  etc, challenges faced by Banks during merger and acquisitions   with small scale business lending and also benefits accompanied by it.
