Effect Of Social Responsibility Cost On The Performance Of Organizations In Nigeria (A Case Study Of Lafarge Cement Wapco Plc)

ABSTRACT

The study examines the effect of social responsibility  cost on the performance  of organizations  in Nigeria,  with special  reference  to LAFARAGE  Cement  Wapco Pfc Ogun State.  The study also aims identifying the impact social responsibility cost  has on the performance   of LAF ARA GE  Cement  Wapco Pfc  Ogun State. Additionally,  data  were gathered from  the financial   statement  of LAFARAGE Cement   Wapco  Pfc   Ogun  State  with  range  of  2000-2015,   and  they  were analyzed  using regression  model test at 0. 05 level of significance.   The results indicated that social responsibility cost has a negative significance  on the performance  of LAFARAGE  Cement Wapco Pie Ogun State.  It is recommended that adequate attention should be given to social accounting and social costs by LAFARAGE  Cement Wapco Pfc Ogun State.
