Effect Of Social Responsibility Accounting On Firms Value Of Quoted Companies In Nigeria (2011- 2015)
ABSTRACT
This study examine the effect on social responsibility accounting on firms value of quoted
company. It focuses on research design, the population of the study, the sample and the sampling
techniques. It also covers sources of data, data analysis, definition of variables, modal
specification and the limitation of the methodology adopted. The study adopt ex-post facto
research design. Ex-pose facto research design involve the ascertaining of the impact of past
factors on the present happening or event, ex-pose facto is concern with the existence of
independence and dependence variables. For the purpose of this study, the population comprises
of the 127 manufacturing companies that are listed on the Nigerian stock exchange during the
period 2011 to 2015. The judgmental/purposive sampling method is used in selecting the sample
for the study. The sample selected is deemed to satisj5' the predetermined criteria for selection.
This study has made use of this method to select 15 listed that are listed on the Nigerian stock
exchange.
