ABSTRACT

This research work examined the effect of Enterprise Resource Planning Software on

Organizaiional Per formance, chapter one dealt with the introduction, the background of the study,

the statement of the problem, hypothesis, objective of the study etc. The objective of the study is to

determine the effect of Enterprise Resource Planning Software on organizational performance.

However, chapter twO dealt with the literature review of different authors, textbooks and related

journal were reviewed. The chapter three focus on the research methodology use, the research

designed employed was descriptive and survey research design. Data were sourced from primary

sources through the adoption of questionnaires. Analyses of data and testing of hypotheses were

c/one through the aid of statistical tools such as tables, and simple regression model. In chapter

fOur, the researcher analyze the data gathered from the questionnaires were sent out and only

indicates that ERR soji ware has significant effect on the performance of the studied quoted

companies,' ERR software adoption have significant effect on customer satisfaction through

e/jicient service delivery; ERR software adoption have signIcant impact on employees'

satisfaction through participative management and continuous training, ERP software adoption

have significant impact on the overall efficiency of the selected quoted companies under study.

The study however revealed that quoted companies adopting ERP software should know that it is

a continuous process and there/öre the researcher concludes that every organization should input

the ac/option of ERR software in its long term strategic objective so as to increase organizational

perfOrmance in the industry or they will face the risk of losing out in today's competitive and

turbulent operating environment.
