Effect Of Accounting Information On Management Decision Of Some Selected Organization In Nigeria
ABSTRACT
The research work empirically examined the effect of accounting information on management decisions of selected companies in Nigeria. Primary data was used for the study sourced from a well-structured questionnaire administered on the selected management staff of selected companies. The analytical technique adopted was descriptive statistics and simple regression analysis. Given the outcome of the empirical analysis of the data, findings of the study indicated that the accounting information has a positive and significant effect on the profitability of selected Nigerian companies, Nigerian companies rely on accounting ratio in making management decision. While accounting information has a positive and significant effect on the financing decision of selected Nigerian companies. Based on the result it is recommended that accounting information should be prepared and made available on time so to know the profit of the company. Equally recommended that accounting ratios should be computed and made available on time so that management decision will be made available on time
