ABSTRACT
In the communication industry today,
the importance of microphones cannot be over emphasized. They can be found in
different shapes and sizes as well as single units for public address systems,
or are built into devices such as telephones, tape recorders etc. The basic
microphone usually consists of a handheid unit (microphone) with a cable
connected to it. [1]. This hand held unit is used to convert audio signals into
electrical signals, which are then transmitted through the cable and terminates
at an amplifier, a recorder, a phone etc.[2] A wireless microphone as the name
implies is a microphone without a physical cable connecting it directly to the
sound recording or drilplitying equipment with which it is associated [3], [2].
