ABSTRACT
This project has been selected
because of its applicability in our day to day and its potential to conserve
power using locally assembled electronic components. The device sound activated
switch functions by responding to sound of certain intensity (60decible); hand
clap two to three meter away and finger tap at a very close range. This device
contains a condense microphone at the input, where transduction of sound to
electrical pulse takes place, which is coupled to a digital circuit realized
with three cascased transistor which changes the input (analogue) to digital.
The Dtype flip flop toggles to energize the electromagnetic relay at the output
where the output load (max 200 watts) is interfaced.
