Challenges And Prospect Of Auditing In A Computerized Accounting System (A Study Of 7-Uup Company PLC Aba)
ABSTRACT
Auditing in a computerized accuunting system brings with it a lot of
prospects as well as some daunting challenges. This study was
carried out to empirically examine the challenges and prospects of
computerized based auditing in 7up Plc. Aba. Primary data needed
for the statistical analysis was generated through the administration
of questionnaire. The collated primary data was analyzed using
simple percentage/currulative frequency and ordinary least square
(OLS,) simple regression, analysis. The empirical results revealed that
there was a positive and statistically signficant impact of
computerized ai.tditing on. the accuracy of book keepirLg entries and
there was a positive and statistically significant impact of
computerized auditing on the business environment.
