ABSTRACT
Neoteny, also
known as Juvenilization is the slowing
or delaying of physiological or somatic development, typically of an animal,
resulting in the retention of larval
features in the adult organisms. In the context of commercial/ artisanal aquaculture
in Nigeria, it is the presence of teething problems at a time it should be at
an advanced stage of development
