Application Of Statistical Quality Control In Manufacturing Industries (A Case Study Of Cusson Baby Soap Of Pz Cusson Plc, Aba)
ABSTRACT
Obviously, in this research work
titled "application of statistical quality control in manufacturing
industries a case study of cusson baby soap of PZ cusson plc, Aba". The
contributions, suggestions and defnitions of various authors and experts in
statistical quality control were explicitly highlighted. The product control
analysis, acceptance sampling, factors influencing hg the choice of acceptance
sampling plan at PZ cusson plc, advantages and disadvantages of acceptance
sampling were also not left out. Tables and graphs representing the collected
data were also included in the study. Also in the analysis of the data, the
analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to test the difference in the mean of the
weight of cusson baby care soap. Through the use of the mean (x-bar)control
chart and Range R control chart, it was discovered that. the process it takes
in the manufacturing of cusson baby care tablet soap was in statistical process
control and the analysis of the variance (ANOVA) also indicates that there is no
significant difference in the mean of cusson baby care soap since the process
is in control.
