Abstract
The
antibiogram of enterobactercacae isolated from reaHv m fifteen (15) vended
fruit samples comprising of watermelon naw-' 1“Vestlgated’ A total of Five
bacteria isolates which belong to the genera ofPseudom’nna pineapple
analYsedspp, Klebsiella spp and Shigella were isolated. The total

was the dises diffusion method. Multiple Amoxicillin, rWidixic Arid. Ceftxtme,
Levoftaacm) were used. The frequency showed that £ call revealed the iXi
percentage occurrence followed of 31.25% while I’seudnuonas aeruginosa and
ShlgeUa spp Ita the lowest percentage occurrence of 12.5%among the isolates.
The antibiogram shows that Lol was highly sensitive to Nitrofurantoin (70%),
Ceflxime (80%), and Gentamicin (70%) While highly resistance was revealed
against This study shows heavy contamination ofready to eat fruit with
antibiotic resistance microorganisms.
